Thanks sixthreezero for the replacement rack. The original one had paint damage during shipment. Not sure why you sent me a rack that was an inch shorter height wise but it still fit. The problem for me was the lack of installation instructions. I removed the black plastic battery glide and installed it to the new rack. The glide attaches to the rack via several flathead screws and lock nuts. I tightened the screws and slid the battery into the rack. When I tried to remove the battery it was nearly impossible. I found out the hard way that if you tighten the screws too tightly the gap between the glider and the rack becomes very narrow and the battery will get stuck in the installed position. I corrected the issue by loosening the screws once I was able to pull out the battery using brute force and car trim tools. Again, a simple warning label attached to the rack would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
