QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Why is the 7 speed cheaper than the 3 or 21 speed?
Hi, Amanda!
Thank you for sending us your inquiry about our AroundtheBlock bicycle. The reason why the 7-speed bike is cheaper than the 3-speed is because of the gearing system. The 3-speed has an internal hub for the gearing system while the 7-speed has an external derailleur. The internal hub is less maintenance and dirt, and water cannot get into it that easily. The same goes for the 21-speed bike.
I hope this answers your inquiry.
