What’s A Grip Shift?

Sometimes, one speed just isn’t enough. If you are shopping for a commuter bicycle or a hybrid, chances are you need something that can be adjusted for various terrain and hills. For our three and seven speed bicycles, the shifting can be done on the right handlebar. We call this a grip shift. With a quick simple twist of the wrist, you can easily shift into the next gear. The handlebar shift is moderately firm, and you do have the option of taking your bicycle to the shop to have the grip shift moved to the left handlebar if you prefer.
