Hey guys, Dustin here, CEO of sixthreezero. Today. We're going to talk about electric bikes in San Diego, California. Stick with us.
All right, guys. So today we're going to talk about electric bikes in San Diego, California. But before we do, go down there to that subscribe button. Hit it, stay tuned for all the latest content and videos we're putting out. Informational, lifestyle, everything you need to know about standard bikes and e-bikes. So let's jump into electric bikes in San Diego, California. Electric bikes are absolutely exploding in southern California particularly in San Diego. There are a lot of great coastal areas to ride your normal bike, and now e-bikes. You can ride up and down the coast for several miles and electric bikes are absolutely exploding. Now, the one thing I'm starting to read and I read about is actually electric bikes are banned in San Diego on a lot of the bike paths. So that's something to pay attention to. If you do get an electric bike, most likely you're not allowed on the beach path.
Check the local laws for the particular city or jurisdiction, whether it's Ocean Beach, PB, La Jolla, whatever area you're in, just make sure you understand the local area's laws because things are changing actually monthly right now. In San Diego in particular, a lot of the cities are trying to figure out how best to allow e-bikes, but also regulate them. So of course you can always take the bike lanes. There are definitely some bike lanes throughout San Diego in different areas. And if you choose to do that, make sure you wear a helmet. But again, as I said, it's really city to city. So you don't want to get an e-bike and just start hitting the beach paths. You want to make sure you understand the laws and don't be fooled. You can get a ticket for those kinds of things. And those could be hefty if you're riding in the wrong area. But San Diego is a great area to take your e-bike out the streets and see the city.
In particular, when you get closer to the water in most areas, it's pretty flat, not a lot of hills, but if you live a little bit of distance from the ocean, an e-bike obviously is going to be a great option to get home. But if you just want to cruise up and down that coast, stay in the bike lane, a great way to see the coast down in San Diego on an electric bike. In particular, sixthreezero, we have comfort bikes that are great for touring. So if you want to go cruise, see the ocean, park your bike, enjoy a day down there, but be comfortable, you know, you can check out sixthreezero electric bikes. But in addition to that, there's a lot of great brands out there. A lot of great options. And like I said, touring around San Diego, I would say one of the best ways to do it is on an electric bike.
You can go over to Coronado, drive around that entire island on an electric bike. You can go on a bike lane over there, and get out and see a lot. So my suggestion, see San Diego, cruise around San Diego on an electric bike. If you have any other comments or questions, please put them below in the comment section. I'm happy to answer them.
